With a desire to expand its statewide presence and strengthen its brand, LPA worked with Joeris General Contractors to design a new corporate headquarters.

Joeris wanted separation between corporate functions of the company and the operations and pre-construction services in the 40,000-square-foot office space. The design provides private and open office workspaces for their 130-person staff. The open spaces are flanked by offices and support areas such as a flexible training room, meeting spaces, a construction cost work room and BIM cave.

LPA approached the design by blending the outdoors and indoors with an event courtyard and spilling natural daylight into the office with views of the oak trees. Recycled wood accent ceilings and walls with polished concrete floors add warmth and connection with the south Texas vernacular. The office also includes a café and fitness center with shower facilities.
