Gigamon resides at 3250 Olcott property, a three-story, 48,000-square-foot building built in the 1980s. To bring the facility into the 21st century, the property owners wanted the space to reflect the innovative spirit synonymous with the Silicon Valley.

The design team utilized the entire building and site as an expression of creativity. The exterior entry employs a combination of technology-inspired formal and informal gathering zones that blur the line of interior and exterior spaces. A new two-story glass entry provides an eye-catching visual connection to all who work and visit the property, as well as an organizing element for which common area amenities are planned around. Atop the two-story entry element is a third-floor meeting area bolstered by sliding glass walls that will host a wide variety of organizational gatherings amongst the mature tree-lined horizon. The interiors were stripped of years of build-out to provide building occupants access to natural daylighting and promote organic growth.
