Kevin Sullivan joined LPA in 2000 as a Principal. He is the Studio Director for the Sacramento office and leads the firm's landscape architecture services and the integration of landscape with in-house architecture and civil engineering. Sullivan emphasizes project strategy,concept formulation, schematic design and sustainable site solutions.
Sullivan’s design process affords a comprehensive approach to problem solving and quality service to clients. His experience includes community and park master planning, smart street and park design, sport and recreation facilities and environmental restoration. Sullivan is recognized as a leader in facilitating community workshops and consensus building.
He has guest-lectured and taught classes on the subjects of park master planning and design, the Sustainable Sites Initiative (SITES), LEED and the Community Workshop Process for the California Parks and Recreation Society (CPRS) at University of California at Davis, University of California at Irvine, California State University in Fullerton and Saddleback College.
Sullivan has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona. He is a licensed Landscape Architect in California, Arizona and Nevada; a member of American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), Urban Land Institute (ULI), USGBC and an exhibit committee member for CPRS.
