Jim Kisel has been with LPA since 1994. His primary responsibility is for the planning of K-12 facilities. In the past eighteen years he has assisted more than 100 private school facilities and public school district clients with their master planning, site analysis, programming, schematic design, budgeting/fund raising and local/State agency approvals needs. His project solutions are the result of interaction with the client design committees and architectural team members. One of his primary duties is to facilitate these “charrette” programming sessions.
For the past 29 years, Kisel has focused his career on the educational environments arena. The planning of facilities that create a sense of place and prepare their students for success in future endeavors is his passion.
Kisel received his Bachelor of Architect with a Business Minor at Carnegie-Mellon University.
