The ENR Top Green Design Firms List is based on revenue from registered sustainable projects. These are projects actively seeking certification from third-party ratings groups under objective, environmental or sustainable design standards.

According to the numbers, the top 100 green firms generated $3 billion in revenue, a nearly 64 percent increase from the year before. We at LPA have experienced growth as well having completed the first LEED NC project in the country in 2000, we reached our tenth in 2009, and will have more than 20 by 2011.

Sustainability is much too important to our future to be limited to scorecards and rating systems. We encourage every building to have a sustainable quotient regardless of program or scale. Sustainability at LPA is doing more with less. Less energy and water, fewer materials and resources.
