Steve’s approach to design is to look at each project, identify the problem, and come to an informed solution. This includes gaining input from all stakeholders both on the design team as well as the client and community.
Steve’s responsibilities include the coordination of the design and technical efforts of the project team members and the integration of all disciplines on the project. His involvement begins at the earliest stages of a project and continues through construction administration to ensure that quality control is maintained, and that no information is lost when transitioning between different project phases.
With a focus on educational design, over the last two decades, he has learned that both the construction methods and materials, as well as the users of the spaces, have evolving needs focusing on flexibility, technology and collaboration.
