Silke brings more than 20 years of architectural experience with the focus on collaboration with clients to attain responsive and appropriate solutions. Her primary responsibilities include the programming, planning, design and development of higher education facilities. Silke translates her knowledge of design ideas, material selections and documentation for projects. 

Silke has experience in STEM educational facilities, classrooms, labs, libraries, performing arts centers and more. Her expertise is vital to the understanding of programmatic needs of a building and creating a learning environment for student success. 

To achieve successful projects, Silke believes that it is critical for the client and design team members to work closely together while communicating effectively to ensure the programming and design are directly responsive to the needs and vision. Silke’s role is focused on the design process and how it is used to draw the connection between a need and a solution, or a desire and a potential experience.
