Karly Barker: The business community got a little taste of green on Friday at LPA’s Sustainable Office and Energy Showcase. The event featured an educational 60-foot mobile energy unit as well as a sustainable vehicle fleet, food trucks and workplace advice from the sustainable energy experts at LPA.

Glenn Carels: You can’t change the world with just one building, but you can certainly change the world with the ideas that go into a great building. And so we feel very confident that the discoveries that we’re making can be applicable to all the different kinds of market segments and building types out there. I think that’s the reason why we’re so passionate about having an event like today, because we do want to share these wonderful ideas with everybody, so they can go back and incorporate them, not just in their professional work life but maybe even in their home life as well.

Karly Barker: The event was initially planned as an open house, but LPA says “The business community jumped onboard for the Green Showcase,” with nearly 500 people turning out to learn about eco-friendly innovations found right here in Orange County.
