Located on Toyota's Torrance, CA campus are five, three-story buildings, totaling 625,000-square-feet. The project reflects Toyota's commitment to the environment and is currently one of the country's largest LEED Gold privately funded projects. The high energy-efficient design embraces several energy-saving and renewable energy sources including the largest privately-owned rooftop Photovoltaic (PV) System-panel installation in the country. The project also uses a high percentage of recycled or recyclable materials and 90% of the construction waste was diverted from landfills.
