This remodel of a small public library in Santa Fe Springs is part of a civic center complex originally designed by William Pereira. An aging and neglected facility, this remodel will correct unfortunate modifications over the years while addressing circulation, lighting, materials furnishings and changing library technologies. An exterior protected garden space provides additional public space without adding square footage and cost to the structure.
