The Brea Sports Park fulfills a long-standing vision of community leaders. The 27-acre community sports park creates recreational opportunities that address the needs and interests of the developing community. The Brea Sport Park is a symbol of community pride for the City of Brea featuring a dedicated baseball field, a youth baseball field, an adult softball field, a full size soccer/football field, basketball courts, a practice multi-purpose field, two overlay soccer fields, batting cages, a youth play area (tot lot), passive park area, a walking trail extending around the periphery of the sports park, and a 3,700-square-foot concession/restroom building.

From the onset of the year long community consensus building process and as part of the overall concept, sustainable elements were integrated into the design allowing for environmental concerns such as, storm water management of the park, active oil wells, and regional water shed to be mitigated and addressed on site. The design of these components was seamlessly incorporated into features such as the fully sub-drained fields, permeable pavers in the main promenade, and passive park/best management practices areas.
