Brea Sports Park

The Brea Sports Park is a 27-acre park which includes a youth baseball field, softball field, dedicated adult baseball field, five batting cages, enclosed dugouts and bullpens for each field, dedicated football/soccer field, two soccer overlay fields, practice field, and basketball courts. The sports park also features a concession stand/community building and two separate storage buildings.

From the onset of the year long community consensus building process and as part of the overall concept, sustainable elements were integrated into the design allowing for environmental concerns such as, storm water management of the park, active oil wells, and regional water shed to be mitigated and addressed on site. The design of these components was seamlessly integrated into functional features such as the fully sub-drained fields, permeable pavers in the main promenade, and passive park/best management practices areas.
