Laguna Beach High School

Expanding upon our philosophy of Campus Enrichment, LPA explored the school's programmatic needs in addition to the basic modernization tasks of updating the finishes, systems upgrades, and accessibility as a part of improving the overall campus environment. This project reinforces the academic program by providing four new classrooms, a dance studio, locker rooms, and a new track and field complex, while creating state-of-the-art science labs and a new technology center. Being sensitive to the existing campus fabric, with a mix of architectural styles spanning six decades, the new buildings strengthen a series of existing courtyards, each conveying a story about distinct regions of this unique beach community.
