Incorporated into this supercenter are a variety of sustainable features such as photovoltaic panels, wind generation, daylighting, low velocity HVAC distribution, green screens, and natural ventilation, making this supercenter one of the most sustainable projects in the country.
The McKinney, TX store incorporates numerous sustainable features, such as solar generation canopies, rain harvesting, wind generation, daylighting, green screens, and natural ventilation. LPA also designed an in-store signage program to educate customers about the building's sustainable features and practices.
This 200,000-square-foot retail facility will be tested for various green strategies for a three year period.
